Executive Function and Language Use
At KITES Child Development Centre, we recognize that effective communication relies not only on language skills but also on executive functioning — the ability to plan, organize, sequence, and express ideas clearly.
Our therapy supports children in organizing thoughts, sequencing events, planning verbal responses, and staying on topic during conversations and storytelling. Using tools like story builders, visual organizers, mind mapping techniques, and verbal rehearsal strategies, we help children develop the cognitive-linguistic skills necessary for clear, logical communication.
By strengthening the connection between executive function and language use, we prepare children for more successful academic participation, social interactions, and problem-solving.
We believe that building these foundational thinking and communication skills empowers children to express themselves with greater clarity, confidence, and independence.
