Narrative Development
At KITES Child Development Centre, we recognize that the ability to tell a story – whether real or imagined – is essential for academic achievement, social interaction, and emotional expression.
Our therapy focuses on developing story sequencing, event description, cause-and-effect understanding, and personal experience sharing. Through story retell activities, personal narrative building, sequencing games, and visual story mapping, we guide children to organize ideas coherently, use appropriate grammar and vocabulary and connect events logically.
Narrative skills are taught through playful, engaging tasks that support not only language growth but also memory, attention, and perspective-taking.
We believe that helping children find and share their stories builds confidence, strengthens relationships and fosters lifelong communication success.
